Medium-bodied velvety red with rich garnet color and fresh acidity, notes of red fruits and earthy undertones, tertiary aromas and flavors of spices and tobacco with smoky mineral finish.
Recommended Pairings:
Sangiovese is a wonderfully versatile wine and our Rosso pairs well with cheeses, pizza, red pasta dishes, vegetable dishes, slow roasted soft meats, grilled meats, and mushroom dishes.
In the Cellar:
Fermented with the skins on in fiberglass tanks, then aged in chestnut barrels for 12 months, bottled, and aged in our cellar for at least an additional year.
