With a rich raspberry color and more structure and complexity than your average rose, this is a wonderfully balanced wine to enjoy with food and year-round, not just poolside when the temperatures heat up.
Medium body with fresh minerality thanks to our volcanic soil and notes of red fruits like sweet cherry, wild strawberry, and raspberry, with a sharp, mouthwatering acidity.
Recommended Pairings:
Great with fresh salty cheeses and pasta dishes, spring vegetables like peas, fava beans, and asparagus, seafood, and Asian or Mediterranean flavors.
In the Cellar:
Sangiovese grapes are directly pressed after harvest while Montepulciano grapes are macerated for up to 48 hours and then pressed off the skins.
Musts are then combined and fermented together in fiberglass tanks where they rest for six months until bottled in March.
